I graduated in 1997 and I have been practicing the profession for 26 years.
I worked in the same office for 23 years, along with the other two colleagues, Amaya and Eduardo, until the death of our boss, so in 2020 we began a new career together in which we are currently managing our professional law firm in Plaza de los Campos no. 4 1º B of Granada with the “ALVAEZ-LEGAL STUDY”.
Our office has always been characterized by dedicating itself mainly to civil matter.
My beginnings were, mostly, specializing in Family right (separations, divorces, modifications of measures, execution of Sentences...) plus the procedures derived from that matter (proceedings before Courts of Violence against women, criminal procedures for the crime of abandonment of family, non-compliance with measures in relation to minors agreed by resolution firm judicial process, sexual abuse of minors...), procedures for the liquidation of the matrimonial property regime (both by mutual agreement and contentious), voluntary jurisdiction procedures for inadequate exercise of parental authority, urgent proceedings in relation to minors for the adoption of protective measures. protection against risks…
But I also had to adapt to the work that arose, so I began to specialize in matters of civil and criminal liability related to traffic accidents assuming the defense of an insurance company that was a client of the firm.
I have also touched the banking law and civil procedures for the execution of non-judicial titles.
And, again, the job opportunity led me to dedicate myself to another new and different subject such as electric sector which, today, constitutes my main source of work and income, providing services for the Legal advice of a well-known electrical energy distribution company in our country, which means studying and knowing the legislation for the defense of matters of a very different nature, both purely civil matters (contractual or extra-contractual liability, compensation for damages, claims related to billing, measuring equipment, procedures regarding easement, procedure in the exercise of actions to claim ownership and possession...), as criminal (electrical fraud, theft/theft of electrical energy distribution facilities) and contentious-administrative.
Also, currently, following the trajectory of having worked mostly in an office dedicated to civil matters, I work on civil matters urban leases and bank claims.
